Kazoo Panda Mystery Pin 05 of 12 - Football (Soccer) Player

Part of the Kazoo Panda Mystery Series, sold online and at selected cafes. Each pin is a black and white panda in a colorful costume, with a musical instrument or element. Together the 12 pins in the series represent the many activities and destinations of the globe-trotting Kazoo Panda Bear.

Pins were sold individually and randomly in mystery boxes. The twelfth pin, or chaser, is Limited Edition 500. The chaser quantity is lower than the unstated quantities of the other 11 pins, making the series harder to complete.

This pin is one of the 11 common pins in the series of 12. It features a panda wearing a Spanish football (soccer) kit and kicking a black and white ball. Inspiration is football culture in Spain, most notably Futbol Club Barcelona, one of the world's most popular and successful teams. Barcelona is the largest city in the autonomous Spanish community of Catalonia. Panda's kit, or uniform, represents Catalonia and resembles the team crest of FC Barcelona. Its shirt, or jersey, is white with a red cross. This design is the Cross of Saint George, patron saint of Catalonia. Panda's shorts have alternating red and yellow stripes, which look like the flag of Catalonia. Similarly, this same cross and flag appear together on the Barcelona team crest. Panda also wears red football boots, or cleats. Rounding out the pin are its musical elements, which are black musical notes on the panda's white sleeves and socks.

Hard Rock logo is at bottom right. Brand name is in black letters, on a red circle with a black border.
