Cobain wore the jeans during quite a few important occasions, including in the Anton Corbijn-directed music video for the song, "Heart-Shaped Box;" on-stage during a live concert performance at the legendary Roseland Ballroom in New York City; when meeting William S. Burroughs in Kansas; and while attending the 10th Annual MTV Video Music Awards with his wife Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean. Cobain also wore the jeans during a photoshoot with noted photgrapher Jesse Frohman, and was last reported wearing them publicly in France on Feb. 12, 1994, during Nirvana's "In Utero" tour.
