This is the third edition of the Breakdown Service truck, clearly identifiable by the plastic rear cover. There should be a paper sticker in blue with a Corgi dog logo and the text Breakdown Service. On the Whizzwheels model the paper is paler and it just says 'Service'. It is available with shaped, free spinning wheels, cast spoke-effect wheels and Whizzwheels - all as #477.
The Whizzwheel version came with either a chrome knob or a wheel to operate the winch.
It supercedes #417 and #417S. Without the rear cover, it can be difficult distinguishing between #417S with the closed jib and an early #477! Good luck there!
