Locutus of Borg was released in 1993 as part of the second wave of Playmates’ Star Trek: The Next Generation action figure line. The 4.5-inch figure depicts Captain Jean-Luc Picard assimilated by the Borg Collective, as seen in the two-part episodes “The Best of Both Worlds.”
In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Locutus is the identity assumed by Captain Picard after being captured and assimilated by the Borg. This transformation plays a key role in the Borg’s attempt to invade Federation space and is one of the most iconic moments in the series.
