Model by DeAgostini.
This model is a real mess. The leaflet identifies it as a 1957 bus, this is the year when it first came out and was named simply Magirus-Deutz Saturn II. Some display bases hold on to the year of 1957, while others say 1964! In 1964 the name for the citybus version was changed to Magirus-Deutz Saturn II 150 S 10, this in order to match the naming pattern to that of the company's trucks.
The models on the 1957-bases carry registration plates from Frankfurt am Main, while the 1964-ones are equipped with Hamburg plates! But this is the only difference between the two: the route number (55), destination signs (Rabenstr. Alsterufer) and even the fleetnumber (7450) are the same on both versions.
The 1957-version is not part of the collection released in northern Europe!
