This has picked up identification of being the 1962 Briggs Cunningham entry driven by Bruce McLaren and Walt Hansgen. That is incorrect.
There are only three major races shown for a #2 Maserati 151. Those are Le Mans 1962, 1963 and 1964.
Cunningham's cars were white with blue stripes, the scheme for American entries. That was chassis #004 which crashed and burned at Daytona in early 1963. No further races were recorded.
Chassis #002 raced Le Mans in 1962 as #4 and was red. Photos could not be found to determine the exact livery. This car matches the 1963 Le Mans livery of the Johnny Simon/Maserati France team perfectly. That car started 5th but did not finish.
The 1964 Le Mans entry had the meatball further forward on the fender. Eight of the ten races attributed to all Maserati 151 after Le Mans 1963 were tied to chassis #002.
