Through the 1980s, Solido produced some of the more accurate 1:43 race car models for the mainstream market. This one appears to be lacking a number for its meatball, but the Matra 650 was sponsored by Elf Oil in all but one major race which narrows down the possibilities. This must be from the 1971 Tour de France Automobile, probably #134 as that was the winner and had the more famous drivers.
