Mercedes Benz 300 SLR Le Mans

One of the three team cars entered by Mercedes Benz at Le Mans in 1955 and was subsequently withdrawn after the terrible accident which involved one of its sister cars.  Driven by Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, the car was leading the race at the time of its withdrawal.

Produced by John Haynes Historic Replicars, these models were acrurate modeled and hand assembled by John.  Production run was limited to 250 pieces.  Part of the Second Series
