An aerodynamically improved GT body, powered by a 2068 cc four-cylinder diesel engine with turbocharger and an output of 70 kW, achieved a top speed of 197 km / h during test drives in the Opel Dudenhofen test center.
In 1972, this vehicle set two world records and 18 international records for diesel vehicles.
