Pink and white butterfly guitar clone released for Pinktober, the annual Hard Rock charity campaign to promote breast cancer awareness. Pin also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe brand, founded in 1971.
Pin is a vertical guitar with pink and white butterfly wings, a dark pink body and a white scratchplate. Dark pink section is translucent and covered with flowers. At bottom left of guitar body is a pink breast cancer ribbon. Guitar head and neck are dark pink. Year (2021) appears vertically on guitar head in silver. At center of neck is a Hard Rock 50th anniversary logo in silver and pink. Location name (Japan) is at bottom of logo in white.
This pin was sold in the Hard Rock Cafe Japan online store and the four retail locations in Japan: Hard Rock Cafe Osaka Universal Citywalk, Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo, Hard Rock Cafe Uyeno Eki and Hard Rock Cafe Yokohama.
Back of pin says "Limited Edition" and does not state quantity. Hard Rock Cafe Japan website says pin is Limited Edition 300.
Sold on a glossy pink backing card featuring a dark pink breast cancer ribbon covered with flowers. Across top of card is a Pinktober logo in red foil. Under the logo, in white capital letters, is the name "Hard Rock Heals Foundation." The Heals Foundation oversees the charity efforts of Hard Rock International. At top right of card is a Hard Rock 50th anniversary logo in dark pink. Back of card says 10% of sales will directly help fight breast cancer.
