What he won't usually say is that it might be his favorite creation (and we may never know…). But mention it to him, and you will see a certain light in his eyes, and you know that this piece truly ignites his passion for design. Commemorating his 40 years of design excellence and his recent retirement, HWC proudly presented the Larry's Farewell Purple Passion.   For this ultimate edition of Larry's milestone creation, HWC began with the opening hood version of the casting. It just wouldn't seem right if not finished with a nice, rich shade of Spectraflame dark purple, and the deco is reminiscent of that which appeared on the original release of the casting. With classic whitewall wheels and a full-metal, polished-chrome-plated chassis, this is perhaps one of the most elegant Hot Wheels releases of all time, and an edition of the Purple Passion that truly does it justice. But then, who would ever expect Larry to ride out in anything but style?
