One of the country's most famous bus services - Betty's Bus. Introduced in 1978 as a community bus service operating along the narrow Ribble valley lanes , the midibus was christened "Betty's Bus" by regular passengers in appreciation of the regular driver Betty Gray. One of the stops en route is to feed the ducks at Downham.
