Less flamboyant than the Art Deco Kestrel, more modern than the traditional Lynx, and more conservative than the svelte Continental, the Adelphi represented the middle ground of Riley's mid 1930's cars. With its hand built wood-framed coachwork, centre lock wire wheels and high-efficiency engine the Adelphi was a most desirable sporting saloon.
