The "Rock'n'Roll Circus" was recorded and filmed 2 days in December 1968. It took 28 years until it was finally released. It was to have been a special as the Rolling stones were rolling out their latest release which was "Beggar's Banquet". After viewing it, they were not happy with their performance and it was scrapped. Appearing as the Ringmaster, Mick Jagger, held court over such acts as: The Who, Taj Mahal, Jethro Tull, Marianne Faithful, Yoko Ono and The Dirty Mac (a band composed of John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Mitch Mitchell) It has been released on the Vinyl, Cassette and CD formats. As has been released as a bootleg recording for years. All Rolling Stones' songs by Jagger/Richards. In the TRACKS section the performer will be in parentheses.
