Polistil Rolls Royce Silver Cloud

This model depicted the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III built from 1963 to 1966, which is identifiable by its quad headlights. The model featured opening boot, doors and two-piece bonnet, as well as a separate radio aerial, wing mirrors and a reproduction of the famous silver lady on the front grille. The grille mascot and mirrors are extremely fragile and unboxed examples are often found with these broken off. Reflective British number plates FKV899M were fitted front and rear. Thes plates are rather incongruous, these are 1974-issue number plates, which would have been issued eight years after the last Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was made. The model is Right Hand Drive. The model was made to 1/30 scale so it would fit the standard Polistil S-Series box. It came with a leaflet detailing the opening features and warning in several languages against trying to open both sides of the bonnet at once, as this would cause the two alves to scrape against each other. This model bears a very strong resemblance to the one made by Nacoral. The 1:30 scale Polistil Rolls Royce Silver Cloud made of Diecast Metal/Mazak is Number S644 in the range.
