Model number 24 was introduced into the miniatures range in March 1967. In 1970 the body casting was changed and a Superfast low friction wheel and axle system was fitted. In 1972, the body casting was changed again to allow wider Superfast wheels to be fitted. The model was deleted from the UK range in 1973. In 1977, it was introduced onto the Japanese market under the J-4 catalogue number. In 1978, this body casting was modified again with very large wheel arch openings but soon was deleted from the Japanese range. In 1985, the Japanese body casting was re-issued onto the Bugarian market. The current owner of the tooling is not known.
