The Red Line Club sELECTIONs Series debuted in 2004 as was a first of its kind allowing collectors at HotWheelsCollectors.com the opportunity to vote for 4 cars in a series and essentially vote each element of the casting to create a production model based on the popular vote.
The third of four rounds in 2009 was Classic or Customized. The final two cars were '57 Plymouth Fury and S'Cool Bus. With 59% of the final vote S'Cool Bus pulled it out. In the color round members selected Spectraflame dark purple by the slimmest of margins (941 to 940!) over Spectraflame Race Team blue. Goodyear black-wall Neo-Classic wheels beat out Redlines in the wheel selection. This one's right on the money! This was surely the teacher's pet!
