This pin is part of a Spin City Series. Typically it consists of a central disc, gold with a Hard Rock logo in its centre, and so resembling a vinyl record. Around the disc are images relating to the Cafe location. The images are able to rotate around the disc.
The pin is sold on a special backing card with an image resembling the pin outline showing various high rise buildings in shades of purple and violet, with gold edging to the outline of the buildings. A Hard Rock logo is top left on the card and the words, in gold capitals, "Spin City Series" are along the bottom edge of the card.
The Piccadilly Circus pin has images of a red telephone box, black cab, the Piccadilly Circus neon lights, a Union Flag, a black umbrella, a red Routemaster bus, the statue of Anteros and a black teapot.
The back of the pin is gold in appearance with a design of crossed guitars and Hard Rock logos. A four line text box has a first line reading 'Limited Edition 300'. A guitar pick shaped hologram uthenticates the pin as a genuine Hard Rock product.
The pin went on retail sale on 21 April 2021, price £13.45.
