In 1973, times were tough for the Hot Wheels brand. Forced to cut costs, Mattel re-named several castings from previous years, colored them in enamel, and released them as the latest thing. And they were still hot! 2009's class of four Rewards Priority Cars commemorates the spirit of that era of enamel, and yet remains true to our current spirit of Spectraflame revival.
