Studio 54 Sun Pin

Pin is based on the Studio 54 Sun that hangs in the Pittsburgh HRC. Studio 54 was the notorious New York nightclub of the late 1970's. Its opening coincided perfectly with the disco phenomenon that was exploding onto the scene, swept along by the release of the film Saturday Night Fever in December 1977. Notable VIP guests included Pittsburgh's own Andy Warhol,along with Mick and Bianca Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Calvin Klein and Truman Capote made the club famous.
