Jack Goodfellow didn't kill Jo Hanlon. Or so he says. He didn't hack her to bits with a meat cleaver. He loved her. But the police don't believe him -- they keep questioning his story. And the human-sized dog monsters keep trying to kill him. And a plague of rats has descended upon him, with their little red eyes and teeth like needles. It's a tough life for Jack. But it looks to be a tougher death.
