The the PV444 was sold from 1947 to 1958 when it was replaced by the uprated but similar looking PV544. The most obvious distinction is the that 544 has a one piece curved windshield. Wikipedia says that the first Volvos made their way to the US early in 1956, so this brochure probably served for the entirety of the PV444's sales period overseas.
