Y-ME Pinfest White Les Paul with pink Ribbon

White Les Paul with pink Ribbon was made for Y-ME Charity Event (Pin Fest May 1998). The ribbon & the "CHICAGO Y-ME '98" are silk screened.

September 12, 2004: According to Judson Pitt, long time Chicago collector, this pin was made by FCParry specifically for the auction.

#1 of the five pins went for $1500.00 for the Y-ME charity. This pins holds the distinction of being the highest known price paid for a single pin. Each subsequent number sold for less than number one. #5 of 5 was won by Judson Pitt.

The numbering on the reverse is hand stamped above the pin hinge for the 1st line of print. The 2 lines of boxed print "F.C. Parry" & "ENGLAND" are below the hinge. It came in a black case with a COA.

This pin was mentioned in the book "Treasures of the Hard Rock Cafe - The Official Guide to the Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia Collection", sold at the Cafes. It is included in the "Hard Rock Collectibles" section, "The Rarest of the Rare". It is pin "D30" of 48 pins listed on foldout page 62.
