Known as the Master of Suspense among the film industry, Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock's prolific career spanned the 1920's to the 1970's and includes such renowned classics as Psycho, Vertigo, The Birds, Rear Window, North by Northwest, Rope, To Catch a Thief, and Dial M for Murder (among many others). His iconic and innovative methods of capturing a scene has inspired multiple other filmmakers (most notably M. Night Shymalan, David Fincher, and Brian DePalma) in their styles. Hitchcock is also known for his signature nature to cameo in most all of his filmography.
