A very nice example of the very last edition from this era. There is a very light and bright apple green and this quite different shade which I call mid-green. The interior is the later type of solid yellow plastic and this comes with the correct colour bottle green canopy.
With Whizzwheels in good, clean condition and excellent paintwork. The only fault is a crack in the passenger window.

One of the longest-running models was the Land Rover which now reaches Whizzwheels form but, apart from a different tow hook and interior, is the same as ever!
The wheels really are terrible, though. This is a fairly normal metallic green version. I say ‘fairly normal’ as most sold in this period would have been with the Pony Club set in blue, farming pursuits definitely now much lower in boys’ interests than they had been in the late 1950s.
There are also Daktari (green with black camouflage stripes) and Longleat (white with black) versions with Whizzwheels and two blue versions too and a very bright apple shade of green.
