Oh boy. This is not good. The lovely Mustang body is barely recognisable now as it gets used for the Whizzwheels era.
I really had not intended to include this in the catalogue and leave it with the other strange contraptions Corgi issued with the 160 numbers in these later years. It does have that basic casting, though, so I changed my mind and it wasn’t exactly expensive, being possibly the cheapest of the whole range.
I hadn’t realised until I got this that there is a driver inside, looking pretty ridiculous, as does the engine elements sticking out of the bonnet. Red plastic fenders front and back kinda set the scene generally!
Anyway, it’s a good, clean example in an almost cheerfully bright yellow and the stickers are intact and the wheels the later variety and quite well crafted.
