Other Information:
The assignment of this coin to Tiberius is uncertain. The identification of Tiberius was made on the basis of the portrait (compare the coinage of Tiberius of Hypaepa, RPC 2536 ff.). Currently it appears that the most widely accepted identification is that the obverse bust is Tiberius but the coin was issued dueing the reign of Augustus (27 BCE - 14 CE).
