20 Yearz Special Edition

20 Yearz Special Edition is a rerelease of the first line of Bratz dolls released in 2021 to celebrate Bratz 20 Year Anniversary. The Bratz dolls were created in the 90s, but didn't begin production until 2001.  The dolls featured almond-shaped eyes, eye shadow, blush, and glossy lips. The word "Brat" is slang for "Annoying Child". However, the creators were not afraid of the negative perception of the brand. The Bratz dolls became a craze.  The 2021 collection, Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition, includes the four core Bratz dolls (Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, and Jade) and the first Bratz boy, Cameron. 

May 21, 2001 began the reign of the Bratz dolls, which turned 20 years old on May 21. With their ethnic ambiguity a key factor in their relatability to children of all races, the dolls grossed $2 billion in sales in their first five years on the market.
