Nutmeg Collectibles

Retailer

Nutmeg Collectibles was formed by Mark Daddio in 1990 and was producing Winged Sprint Norhteast DIRT Modifieds and Asphalt Modified racers using Matchbox castings. They released 5 Sprint sets, 7 Modified sets and 3 Modified Legend sets. With the end of 1994 Nutmeg decided not to release anymore models for Matchbox Toys. In 1995 Parlor City Toys formed by Craig Hill of Collectors Toys in Binghamton, New York took over Nutmeg Collectibles. Ertl castings of a 1930s Ford Coupe, a Ford Pinto and Chevy Vega were used. Also a Chevy Cavalier casting was developed.

Dave Morehouse of Bethel CT bought out the back stock and the Nutmeg Collectibles Name from Mark Daddio.  Craig Hill did NOT own Nutmeg Collectibles. He sold them and he had a Lee Sherwood Modified Car and Matchbox Cabover convoy made around  the time frame above.
