Malibu Interactive originally began as Acme Interactive, started by Cinemaware founder Bob Jacob and incorporated in 1991. A year later, Acme Interactive merged with Malibu Graphics Publishing Group to form Malibu Comics Entertainment, Inc., of which Malibu Interactive was a division. In 1994, Malibu Comics Entertainment was acquired by Marvel Entertainment Group. In 2012 Malibu Interactive was re-branded to become a full service digital agency specializing in media management, creative executions, interactive experiences, brand strategy, video production and product development. Digital work spans decades and clients span many categories including CPG, Service, Entertainment, Video Games, Animation, Health and Electronics brands.
