Something Missing?

In the 1980s John Alcott produced a limited number of beautifully made 1/200th models of large aircraft such as Super Constellations (reworked from Dinky Toys items), B-36 Peacemakers and WW2 R.A.F. bombers, all scratch-built. Some were sold in Veteran & Vintage Models packaging (the trade name of Vic Bailey's Brighton-based collectable toy business). They were expensive models for their time, in line with their superb quality, and survivors still stand comparison with later competitors today.  [planetdicast.com, British 1/200th scale Model Aircraft Posted by: TheOneTrueScale on Aug 12, 2009]

He made Dinky Toy conversions, like the: French Dinky Constellation to EC-121 H, R7V-2, WV-2 and TWA constellation (long nose), and the
Dinky Comet 1 to Nimrod MR, MK2 and AEW 3.  He also did a B-36 Peacemaker for Veteran and Vintage.  [https://www.miniatureaircraftcollectors.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=851, 2011]
