Aragog was an Acromantula who lived in the Forbidden Forest. Cared for by Rubeus Hagrid as a young spider, Aragog showed some loyalty to the half-giant despite his taste for human-flesh. Eventually as big as a small elephant, Aragog was a terrifying sight.
