Baron Samedi is a fictional henchman who appears in the 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die. Samedi is unique in the history of the series in that he is the only villain who actually appears to be supernatural; during the course of the film, he appears to be shot once and is then thrown into a coffin full of snakes but reappears alive at the end of the story. Baron Samedi is played by the American actor, dancer, choreographer and artist Geoffrey Holder.
