In April 2017 Eaglemoss/Hero collector solicited a new series of ship models based on both of the Battlestar Galactica series from 1978 and 2004. These are made of die-cast metal and ABS plastic and are larger than their normal ranges with the first four issues being around 270 mm long. Each model is accompanied by a 16 page magazine measuring 151 x 197 mm.
