Bitzer is the deuteragonist in Shaun the Sheep. The yellow, long-suffering sheepdog, only wants a quiet life - but this is the last thing he is going to get when Shaun is around. He is close friends with Shaun and The Flock, but is utterly loyal and devoted to his farmer. It is not clear what breed he is based on (if any), though he could be an Anatolian sheepdog or Kangal as he shares traits with both of those breeds, including their colour scheme, large size, and a serious, assertive, independent and protective nature.
