Blip

Hanna-Barbera | Character

Something Missing?

Blip is a character in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series Space Ghost. He is a small monkey that is always getting Space Ghost, Jace, and Jan out of trouble. Blip wears a costume of light blue and yellow with a black face mask just like the twins. He also uses a jetpack to fly, a belt that gives him the power to turn invisible, and an emblem of Space Ghost on his chest that he uses as a communications device. He cannot speak the human language and therefore communicates through unintelligible noises. He was originally voiced by Don Messick.

Blip later reappeared with Space Ghost, Jan, and Jace in a series of newer segments as a part of Space Stars, and crossed over with characters from The Herculoids, Teen Force, and Astro and the Space Mutts in the finale segments. In these segments, he was voiced by Frank Welker.
