Something Missing?

Bricklin Canada Ltd. was formed by entrepreneur Malcolm Bricklin to make his SV-1 gullwing-doored sports car. The car was built in New Brunswick, Canada with financial assistance from the local government who saw the Bricklin factory as a way to lower local unemployment rates. Production began in 1974 but the car was plagued by gremlins and the enterprise never became profitable. Bricklin went bankrupt in 1975, with the last cars built in 1976 by Consolidated Motors, an automotive liquidation specialist who purchased the remaining cars and parts after the bankruptcy.
