CAFU (Carlos Alberto Fernandez Urbano) started drawings comic-books at a very young age, with a couple of issues of Intimidators for Image Comics. He also did an album for Adonis / Dargaud in France, a still unpublished adaptation of Quo Vadis. His first work for DC Comics was some pages for Manhunter #30. After that, he moved to Marvel to do Marvel Adv. The Avengers #15, #18, and Black Panther #34-#35, while also helping on X-Men: Die by the Sword #3-#4. He returned to DC to do the Vixen: Return of the Lion miniseries that would be his first collaboration with Santi Arcas. And next, he’d do the 11 chapters of the Captain Atom co-feature in Action Comics, again with Santi and in some issues, inks by Bit.
