Calor, founded in 1917, is a French manufacturer of small electric household appliances. The company made the first European electric iron. In the 1920s, they launched a parabolic radiator, hairdryers and fans. Then, in the early 30s, they added toasters, automatic irons with thermostat and the first fan radiator.
Today the company belongs to the SEB Group and is still going strong.
It is not to be confused with the British Calor Gas company.
