Captain Condor was a strip created by Frank Pepper and Ronald Forbes about a valiant spaceship pilot in the year 3000 AD who was rather like Dan Dare, which appeared in the pages of IPC's Lion comic from 1952 onwards. (Lion was designed to compete with Eagle and Condor was basically the comic's answer to Dare). One of the artists who worked on the strip was Brian Lewis, another was Keith Watson. Some Captain Condor strips were later reprinted in other titles including a Starlord Annual in the early eighties.
