"Cards the Never Were" is a series of eTopps cards featuring major league Baseball players from all eras on cards for respective years that there was never an actual card produced by Topps.
For example, in 1952 Topps never released a card for Joe DiMaggio. Under this series released in 2007, Topps gives Joltin' Joe a card that features the style, imagery, and layout of the cards made in 1952.
