Cheese Chao

Cheese Chao, also known as Cheese the Chao, is a fictional character featured in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, making his debut appearance in Sonic Advance 2 (2002). He is the close friend and pet Chao of Cream the Rabbit, and is often always seen by her side. In the games, he serves as a relatively minor character, although is often used as Cream's personal "weapon" of choice. The character has since made appearances in other Sonic video games, including Sonic Heroes (2003), Shadow the Hedgehog (2005), Sonic Chronicles (2008), and Sonic Generations (2011) -- his last appearance in a mainstream game. Cheese also went on to appear in several Sonic adaptations, including Sonic X (being a major character), Sonic Universe, and Sonic Comic.
