Chompy Mage

The Chompy Mage, also known as Vengar in Skylanders: Battlegrounds, is a former antagonist who first appeared as the boss of Wilikin Village in Skylanders: Giants. He is a wizard aligned with the Life element who has the ability to summon Chompies and transform into a giant Chompy. He formerly disliked anyone who isn't a Chompy, and always has a Chompy puppet on his left hand which he occasionally speaks for. His brother is the Sheep Mage.

Before the events of Skylanders: Trap Team, the Chompy Mage became the latest member of the Doom Raiders, but he is no longer part of the villainous gang. He appears yet again in Skylanders: SuperChargers and Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing with his own vehicle, the Chompy Buster, as part of the Land Racing Action Pack in the former game, and as part of the Malevolent Tour in the latter game. He also appears in Skylanders: Battlecast as one of the two bosses of the Life Realm in the Second Dimension, with Broccoli Guy's assistance.

Later, in Skylanders: Imaginators, the Chompy Mage is one of the ten villains who trades in a life of crime to become a Sensei. He now trains Imaginators who belong to the Bazooker Battle Class, hence why he traded in his staff for a Chompy-firing bazooka. He also has a holiday counterpart called Jingle Bell Chompy Mage.
