Colmotores is a car company based in Bogotá, Colombia. Established in 1957 as Fabrica Colombiana de Automotores S.A. (Colmotores), they began manufacturing, under license, British Austins. In 1965, Chrysler Corporation took a 60% stake in the company, which manufactured Chrysler cars under license until 1979.

In 1965 the company "Chrysler International" acquired 60% of Colmotores and the new company name was Chrysler Colmotores. In 1966 they began the manufacture and sale of Dodge vehicles belonging to the new majority partner.
