Clone Trooper Commander

Clone troopers were created as an elite military force to support the Jedi and defend the Galatic Republic.  However, spoiler alert, they were created by the Sith to gain the trust of the Jedi Generals and assassinate them when Order 66 was issued. 

Depending on the Clone Wars material, colors can reflect rank or division.

For Rank:

The clones had no names, no customized armor, or any other signs to show they were separate individuals. They wore Phase I clone armor and the officers' armor were color coded: 

• Yellow for Commander
• Red for Captain
• Blue for Lieutenant
• Green for Sergeant
• White, regular, armor was for Privates and Corporals

For Division (more widely known):

• Red - Coruscant's Clone Troopers
• Blue - Captain Rex's 501st Legion
