Clyde is a character originally from the Hanna-Barbera Wacky Races cartoon series. He is is the leader of the of the Ant Hill Mob who are are seven gangsters who race in the number seven car, The Bulletproof Bomb. They are styled after stereotypical early 1900s American gangsters with a car and wardrobe styled to match. Clyde wears a tall black and red fedora. Clyde's name probably came from gangster Clyde Barrow while his looks, voice, and mannerisms suggest numerous gangster roles played by Edward G. Robinson. Clyde and the Ant Hill Mob also appeared as protagonists in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop cartoon series.

Clyde was voiced by Paul Winchell.
