Something Missing?

Golden Jacks was a system developed by Corgi and fitted to just seven model cars issued between 1968 and 1970. It allowed the wheels to be removed from the model, adding to play value. The system involved a gold-coloured lever on the base, next to each wheel, which locked the wheel in place. Lifting the lever not only released the specially designed wheel, but the lever component also dropped down to provide a 'jack' so that the car would still sit square with the wheel removed.
