The AMT "Countdown" series ran from the late 1970s throughout the 1980s. It consisted of reissues of 3in1 Customizing Kits predominantly of 1960s full size cars. Each kit contsined a plethora of custom parts, speed equipment and alternative tire and wheel combinations.
Each box had a column of year dates on the left, with the one appropriate for the kit's subject in a different color at the top of the box art.
