CULT was founded in 1998 by a young Brian Sørensen, who at that time owned and operated one of the largest night clubs in Denmark. He felt that he needed a product that could be used as a drink mixer and give guests more energy so they would stay and party a little longer.
It was how it all started, and the first product launched by CULT was an energy drink in an old-school glass bottle with the taste of cherry coke, which was packed and distributed from Brian’s father’s garage in Aarhus.
