Dave (a.k.a Dr. Octavius Brine) is the main antagonist of Penguins of Madagascar: The Movie.

Dave was originally one of the star attractions of the Central Park Zoo, until Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private arrived and stole his fame with their cuteness, causing him to be roughly removed from his home. Afterwards, Dave was shipped from zoo to zoo only to have his fame stolen by other penguins. Because of this, he becomes embittered and seeks revenge on the penguin species, becoming a mad scientist in the process.
